Not content with trying to get a relegated striker on loan from West Bromwich Newcastle are now trying to get a Swansea defender on loan

I'm going to assume this is Rondon and Mawson, both of whom would be upgrades for Newcastle and also fairly cheap to buy I assume

Fernandez, who doesn't want to go to Krasnodar so is actively begging for any other interest. I can't see us loaning him out.

Mawson will cost ~£25m. He's on low wages and isn't pushing to leave since he's a good lad and is recovering from knee surgery.

It owns that Ashley won't let the club spend money because he wants to sell it but nobody wants to pay his price for a club likely to go down again

How will Stoke ever afford the £5m FFP fine 4 years from now when they're back in the PL?

edit: He's 29? loving hell how's he robbed a career?

He didn't make his premier league debut until he was 23, so it hasn't really been that long of a career.

Yeah not really impressed with McClean because he is a poo poo clogger but Stoke are a championship club now so he might do a job. The worst thing is all the little englanders crying about loving poppies

Tom Ince is apparently next in, he's supposed to be having a medical today. Another player that wouldn't wow me but he does have a very good record in the championship.

Stoke have made a profit so far in this window and we've offloaded some high earners so we're in decent shape.

Sounds like Roma's Alisson replacement is Robin Olsen, paying Copenhagen €12m.

I mean, these same sources have said that QSI wants Areola to stay, and probably have no intention of making Buffon the main starter, but Raiola never met a payday he didn't like, I guess.

EDIT: Assuming, obviously, this is true.

Yep, pretty much. They got a Chinese (energy?) company called Fosun to buy them last year and are intent to make a move in the prem this year. They're seemingly not content to just avoid relegation.
