After seeing them go all in with King of The Monsters, I'm hoping Cameron and Rodriguez have put her crazier techniques into the film.

Free to roam the heavens in man's noble quest to investigate the weirdness of the universe!

Did they change the eyes to make them smaller between the two trailers or did they just cut the second trailer better so that the eyes have some more context within the world?

Definitely tweaked them as well as all her effects.

It isn't done, either. Expect it to look better in the film.

The BR for Alita should have a special feature slider that let’s you pick how small/big the eyes are.

It's possible to have both.

Alita looks like unwatchable poo poo and the effects better hadn't be finished because right now they look worse than the intro to Witcher 3. It's going to be a pretty solid way to figure out which of your acquaintances you should drop like a hot rock, though.

Ah, youth. When you could just drop friends based on what kind of movies they like.

By the time you're in your 40s and you're down to ten people it's basically anything non-felonious is fine.

My hot take is that Rodriguez has never made a good film, and Dusk 'Til Dawn doesn't count because Tarantino directed half of it.

I don't know if they hold up today, but I thought both El Mariachi and Desperado were very good. I also enjoyed Sin City and Machete.

just like gits because gits was a solid movie all in all.....stylish & memorable. hopefully this will be more faithful (gits only used iconic imagery from the og gits movie w/o the good context that made it work) gits is ghost in the shell btw. also alita is only really a manga so theres less to brazenly rob

Pretty much. GitS was very good, yes, but because it wasn't 80 minutes with 23 of it being the main character staring at a mannequin that looks like her, it's actually bad and has no depth.

ALITA looking quite good. That little bit of a finishing touch it's missing, the difference between the first trailer and this one, the final product should be really spectacular.

It's a movie about a little girl robot that fights other robots. I'm not really sure what substance you could be looking for.

I get the concerns and complains about the poor quality of the CGI at this stage, though, and the eyes. That's fair.

Alita will be better than GitS because even a quasi-CGI lead will have more charisma and character than Scarlett Johannssen

Yeah there's only 3 seasons and that character is still in it a bit. While I don't think season 2 and 3 are quite on par with 1... they're very very close. Knowing the time investment isn't that huge, I'd definitely watch.
