My bi wife [F25] said something that made me [M28] anxious about my own sexual curiosity. My wife [F25] and I [M28] have been happily married for almost four years and have been together for nearly ten. I feel we have a very healthy relationship and sex life. She has been openly bi for our entire relationship and has recently (with my support and encouragement) pursued romantic relationships with other women. We have been together since we were teenagers and never really had a chance to explore our sexuality as adults other than with eachother since our relationship has been monogamous so far. This, I have felt some guilt over in the past due to feeling like she was suppressing a part of herself for my sake. I have felt alot better and I feel we have been happier since encouraging her to explore that side of herself. A side effect of this has been to be more open about my own sexuality, which has been almost entirely focused on her (the couple 'relationships' I was in before we met I can't really count due to being very young and only lasting a handful of weeks). Recently I have become a bit curious about the same sex, but really haven't acted on anything outside of a fantasy/masterbation context. Anyway, a few nights ago the topic of my sexuality came up in conversation and I was a little vauge ("what if I was bi?"). Her response was totally shocking to me: She told me that anal sex was "wrong" and gay men should stick to blowjobs. Pressing her on it a little seemed to be counterproductive as she responded with "that's how you get aids" (paraphrasing a bit here). I really couldn't believe it. I always thought she was as far from homophobic as a person could get: She has had many gay friends, and been going to gay bars and pride events since before we met. It immediatly made me question how honest I could be with her and totally scuttled my opening up about being curious to her. I guess I don't really need advice. I know that I just need to talk to her about it directly. I am just extremely nervous that it will colour her perception of me or negatively affect our relationship in some way. I don't have anyone else to talk to about this (my social circle consists solely of my wife) so it has been causing a bit of internal conflict for me. Has anyone been in a similar situation? TLDR: My bisexual wife shocked me with some nascent homophobia which has made me anxious about my own curiosity.

Yeah no poo poo, she doesn't want STD's. Some reason female porn stars frequently opt to not gently caress bi males. (USER WAS PUT ON PROBATION FOR THIS POST)
