It's apparently cause he had a series of incredibly toxic relationships in his teens and early twenties such that he was volcel for years. He talked about it when he was doing commentary on the games he made like 10 years ago or whatever.

I assume Yahtzee is still with the escapist because it means he has to do like three hours of work a week and doesn't have to bother with anything other than talking into a microphone and editing(assuming the videos aren't thrown together by an intern at this point) and leaving would require either finding a new network that would be less desperate to hold on to him, or taking on more work by going indie.

oh yeah. there was some random lurker who posted a thread in GBS like two years ago (quickly gassed) with links to private videos with next to no views. my guess is that he took the videos. what were the videos? this guy driving around suburban neighborhoods in parts of dallas-fort worth filming muslims and talking about how they were "taking over" and all of that. it was creepy as hell. the guy was filming women and kids.
