The number of coal jobs edged down in Kentucky between April and the end of June, illustrating the continued struggles of the industry despite President Donal Trump’s campaign promise to “put our miners back to work.”

Statewide, the number of coal jobs averaged 6,238, according to a report published this week by the Kentucky Energy and Environment Cabinet. That was down 0.9 percent from the first three months of the year, but it was 4.8 percent less than the same period in 2017, the report said.

Yeah, lots of it is malice and greed. Other people back this because banks already have a supervisory regulator, whether it's the FDIC, Fed, state supervisor, or OCC, and IIRC they already examine for MLA compliance. When the CFPB started up they ticked off a ton of people by refusing to coordinate with other regulators on scheduling exams and pulling information. It meant a ton of extra work without much purpose and it alienated everyone else from the get-go. They've gotten better since then, but the early days were such a pain in the rear end that they haven't had many people defending them from the "gently caress everything Obama did" types. So the face value reasoning is, "eliminating duplicative examinations and information gathering" - burden reduction, in other words. Sucks rear end, since the agency is a great idea.

I imagine that people who get married young for stupid reasons (or to collect military benefits) and then have their partners deploy overseas for long periods probably have much higher rates of infidelity, yes. I don't even know what you're asking here though, they're not called Jody but there's definitely plenty of young guys willing to support Are Troops by keeping the homefront well supplied
