I like the part where he's so disgusted with a mirror on the wall that he spits his drink on it and stares into it ruefully. You can tell that he's really hating that mirror in that moment. He hates what it's doing and why it's doing it. And he wishes that he had the power to change the mirror somehow, to make it good again. He'd always been proud of that mirror, or at least he never felt ashamed of it. But you can feel the shame in that scene. That mirror is shameful, and he's looking at it the way you look at something you're ashamed of.

Tuvok and Neelix are not yet the same, months following their separation. They remember, they remember! And those memories are torture.

Tuvok lurches into a staff meeting one day. He is wearing Neelix's face like a Halloween mask. "Make us whole," he screams. Harry is screaming, too. It takes an entire security team to put him down.

They find Neelix, skinned but alive, sobbing behind the security station. His salty tears cause his raw flesh unbelievable pain. Janeway tries to talk to him, but he cuts his own throat and dies with a rictus of terror frozen on the bare muscles of his ruined face.

The bridge fills with the coppery smell of blood and the earthy smell of poo poo as Neelix's feet dance one last time, a grim tattoo of blessed peace.

drat you, Janeway. You killed three men.

This is amazing.

That's actually really hosed up dude, especially in the context of Curzon nearly destroying her career for daring to be hot to him ( which he didn't mention before passing Dax with all those memories of him spanking it to her). It's actually really gross and a huge violation.

This is...urgh...what? Was that actually a thing in DS9?

That (and an episode of Word Jazz) triggered a very strange thought. There could be a lovely stanza in the style of The Akond of Swat wondering whether he's a Trekkie.

Does he watch Star Trek, at six o'clock?
Does he like Janeway, or Odo, or Riker, or Spock

also that's where I'd go to get style inspiration but instead it'll look like Rock & Morty.

Voyager was supposed to be all action packed and explosive and poo poo, it was supposed to be so cool and rad and clean that it made the DS9 guys come up with the Defiant, but in the end we saw how that turned out

Star Trek hasn't been consistently worthwhile since DS9 was on the air, the brand has been so clueless and lame for so many incarnations since that time that there's no reason to be excited for any new instalments no matter who's involved at this point

Like wow cool the TNG twitter guy gets to make a "funny" trek cartoon, I'm sure this is in no way a halfhearted attempt to get some of that stolen thunder back from The Orville *handjob motion*

Why don't you perform zazen, facing a wall?
Voyager was action packed, particularly from Scorpion on. It still sucked because, amazingly enough, pew pew laser battles week in week out aren’t interesting for their own sake. Enterprise kept this going too, there’s an absolutely astonishing amount of fight scenes for a show so dull.

uBlock Origin and/or whichever XKit fork is current should clear all that right up. At least on desktop, anyway. Mobile users might have no fixes.

On desktop, it's easy enough to get rid of that stuff using browser extensions. On mobile it's still a clusterfuck because you're stuck using their app and Verizon (which owns it now) keeps trying to force users to switch from a chronological feed to an interest algorithm feed.
