Novus Ordo Seclorum
I've had a great run of Aliexpress camping goods. Once you wade through the tactilol stuff there are some real bargains to be had. Still not sure I'd trust AliExpress for safety equipment (I've seen belay devices, slings and the like on there with apparent certification), but I've had good luck with some of the following:

Hammock underquilt: I got this when it was around $35, it has since doubled in price for some reason, still cheaper than hammock quilts bought in US/EU stores:
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/LUC....27424c4dfxE7XR

Hammock straps: These are 1/4 the price of the ENO ATLAS straps they copy, and I've had a good year of use out of them so far without issue:
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Fre....27424c4dfxE7XR

Tarp to use as a hammock shelter: I got this when it was half the current price. It's well made, the attachment points are all reinforced, and the material is light but still waterproof and ripstop:
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/3F-....27424c4dfxE7XR

These haven't shown up yet as I only ordered them last week, but they're a knock-off of the nite-ize figure 9 for less than half the price of the real ones:

I ordered this 10buck lil do-it-yourself dollhouse and it looks like a super fun project!

The set comes as a box with a bunch of things to cut and fold and glue into the tin, including the little lights and the bunnies and every little detail! It's so pretty and cute and if you got crafts-loving family members, a perfect cheap present.

I just received this freebie. I was considering getting something similar, but a little more high tech looking from the same company to work on the tiny matryoshka figures. But I'm broke, so I was pretty excited that I won this.

I am unable to turn on the headlamp because whoever wired the battery compartment has no clue how electricity is conducted. They also stripped one of the screws that holds the battery compartment together. Maybe it was a malfunctioning robot?

Washi tape.
random neat enamel pins. Here's some cute tea/coffee cup ones but there's a variety out there.

If they're younger children / young teens maybe some slime. You know, those lil canisters of floam or gakt.

Depending on their age group, perhaps pencil cases! Large enough to house sunglasses, hand lotion, sunscreen, pencils, various electronic cords, ecig, makeup for daily touch ups, etc. Anyone can find a use for a tiny bag! Here's some neat looking ones but I'm sure you can find something that suits multple people:

There are some kits that have tons of sensors, and 5-10 packs of servos. Everything worked fine. If you're just buying kits you're probably good, though I'd recommend knowing exactly what you're buying, if you're sourcing individual components. I'm working on a Michael Jackson dancing robot. You know what? Another good stocking stuffer is scarves. Everyone appreciates scarves. You get some scarves, wrap up a secondary present on the inside, BAM! You look like you put in some effort in coordinating themes of presents and its contents.

Here's a bunch of random inexpensive scarves that come in different patterns. Everything from cute animals to masculine geometrics.

I've bought $10-15 "silk" scarves that have shown up definitely not being silk, so in that range be aware it's not gonna be. It doesn't make me want to risk $30 ones, either :/

I ordered and built this one awhile ago -

It was cool, but some of it was tiny little fiddly pieces and a pain in the rear end, tiny pointy tweezers helped (and honestly some of the stuff didn't come out exactly right). And I ran out of the included glue, so keeping some extra glue on hand is a good idea. I gave it to my mom when I was done and she loved it.

Still, it was cool and now I think I'm going to order another one.

Yeah I don't think I've seen them for less than $30, maybe they were even a little more. Reviews are always helpful, that's where the real info tends to be.

The pegboards are surprisingly useful and sturdy for just hanging up stuff to free up space, the looks are a little too college dorm-ish for me but I'll let it slide for the function (especially if you can't drill holes in your house)

On the topic of charging cords breaking, you can also get 90 degree USB cables (they work fine, although the more expensive ones charge much faster)

Automatic toothpaste dispenser, no electricity/battery required and works via vaccum suction, one of those things that you don't need but enough of a convenience that I'll probably buy another one if this one breaks (I didn't see my exact model on Alibaba but you can find one close enough
