Not to downplay the crime of theft but in that article, wages + super + tax on wages and super + money spent from wages = the economy, frankly I've never had a firm grasp on what 'the economy' is so it's nice to know for sure now

She repeatedly refused to answer why she made a preference deal with the LDP and some kommando level muppet makes multiple claims that “reason party votes will never transfer to LDP” through either an impressive level of stupidity or being a lying tossrag. Reason party can get in the loving bin.

Rudd adds: “On assuming office Swan immediately began engaging in the national political debate, seeking to rekindle class warfare and remodelled himself as Australia’s answer to Bernie Sanders and Jeremy Corbyn. “For a man who as treasurer sold out the mining companies on the mining tax, there is more than a whiff of hypocrisy on that score. “Not to mention the fact that for the party to lead the nation, we must also bring large swathes of small business, the middle class and aspirational Australians with us.’’

I guess we dodged a bullet when Rudd got the boot. Similar to Latham not becoming PM, even if it gave us another three years of Howard. God those were dark times.

If the media had just let Gillard govern, instead of shamelessly, partisanly and brazenly attacking her every day of her term, and never over the things that she deserved criticism for, like betraying LGBTIQA+ people, or loving over single parents, maybe we would be a world leader in renewable technologies, have a world class fibre network and still be in the top 3 economies in the OECD. We would probably be in Swans second term and enjoying a gentle slide to the left while idiot Tony continues to ruin his own party from opposition.

The problem with any organised group of people is they figure out how to accrue any type of capital they can and use it to be more powerful. Doesn't necessarily have to be money.
