Works here. Embedded Twitter videos can be dodgy though. What's the context for those quotes? At first I thought it was going to be taking a bunch of his previous criticisms out of context but it seems like he is genuinely saying Labor did a bunch of good poo poo.

Most cafes will have a decent cup, and those that dont find out very quickly, because people stop going there, because there are so many choices for good coffee now.

JBP posted:Wow the WA recession must really be biting deep I remember them trying to extract $5 from me for a coffee in 2013. Mine still costs me $5.30. $4 might be a thing in the CBD, but not Crawley. Also the difference between Perth and Melbourne or Brisbane is that if you know where to go - and often this involves going to places that aren't even coffee shops - you can get a reasonable cup of coffee. Nothing like the Melbourne average, but it's okay. In Melbourne and Brisbane, you have to actually seek out bad coffee. Like, go to Maccas, or a chain, maybe a restaurant who are too cheap to put on a barista, so a waiter makes your coffee and that only people over 60 frequent. All of the little dedicated cafes I've been to in both cities, also suburbs, and even FNQ, sold much better coffee than the average cup here. I was in Melbourne in October, even the lovely hotel cafe made better coffee than my favourite places here. The idea that you should actually have to go out of your way to not end up with a $5 cup of burnt assholes is so loving Perth.

The trick is to stare directly at the person serving at the till and say “50 degrees please” and if they still gently caress it up, go somewhere else next time. The main reason why they burn it is because The Old People complain if it doesn’t scorch away the remainder of their tastebuds and demand their money back because modern australia is ruled by entitled boomers.

My mother has always ordered a hot latte meaning 50 degrees because she seems to have the opposite problem of cafes bringing out luke warm coffee sometimes. I just wear it on the odd occasion I get a cool one because I don't want to be the specific degrees dude. Don Dongington posted:See also: anything with beef in it that costs under $40 I watched these two people arguing with waitstaff on Saturday night that they wanted their steaks well done and the poor old waiter was really emphatic that a medium would be way more than the meat needed, but she eventually relented in the face of fearful boomers.
