How I am reading the situation is this: Cohen plead guilty but lied about things to protect Trump and was hoping for a pardon. However news broke of Mueller’s team basically setting the perjury trap that Trump and friends humbled right into. With that now out and public knowledge the squeeze was put on Cohen to sing and is now pleading guilty again. This time Cohen most likely won’t be lying because clearly the pardon isn’t coming and Mueller has clear evidence of what he lied about
