Maybe forced ‘procreation camps’? Not happening here, maybe China, but not in Japan, Europe, or the US. So what other options? So what to do? We could obviously turn the clock back and force them out of the workplace, but that is politically impossible and probably would create more problems than it solves. Another option is to simply ACCEPT that having kids is now a ‘career choice’ and therefore make a reasonable effort to have it pay on a par with other career choices...in other words a tax credit, and perhaps the amount of the credit depending on the woman’s value in the workplace (just a suggestion to keep the welfare queens from getting rich by plopping out babies).
Tough decisions - but we demographics doesn’t lie and we all know where it’s taking us...as we twiddle our thumbs and hope for a procreation revival that simply isn’t coming without some help.

So what confused me was that afaik the caravan is mostly women and children with most of the "men" being teenagers but then I remembered this is Freep and I don't know why I'm expecting logic. Expecting that from Freep makes me dumber than they are.

'catholic' with a little c is a valid word and what was originally meant. 'Catholic' as in the Roman Catholic Church was meant as an adjective originally.

Catholic means 'universal'. In other words the church is whole, encompassing, and leaves nothing aside. The Church of Rome used the word as part of their assumption as the prime church.
