They're done either way. They won't stop fighting so as a political party in NSW they are hosed. If the left purge Cate, Justin along with Buckingham they are almost certainly more hosed. The NSW electorate won't reward them for becoming ideologically purer. All they need is to not like him (which I get the impression they don't) and that's good enough to not let him run in the next election. Sure, that should have been thought through before Jenny went public with this in NSW parliament.
