You have to be 70 but you can skip past all the previous content and hop straight into Jedi Under Siege by choosing it from your ship.

Since I heard they've just about finished the Zakuul stuff, figured I might as well catch up on reading the thread. Somehow I'm not surprised to see a Khem Val flirt.

As much as I'm not minding being able to completely skip KotFE/FT, I'm not really fond of the Republic = Lightside choices/Empire = Darkside choices, so I guess I'm stuck with the possibility of having to do that draggy content on multiple characters.

Anyone know if there's a list of all the choices to be made during KotFE/FT that's been compiled yet?

It's pretty much "If you can kill someone, you do" with Imperial characters and the opposite with Republic, with a few exceptions that are class specific like Agent doesn't kill Scorpio or Kaliyo.

I get why they didn't put any effort into allowing you to modify choices - they already have that, with actually playing the chapters.

Which disappointed me, because I really wanted to kill Kaliyo as my agent but the game prevents the agent from doing so.

It's always seemed to me that agent has more reason to kill Kaliyo than anyone else. My agent wasn't strictly by-the-book, but Kaliyo is just one of those loose ends you shouldn't have running around in the galaxy.

I don't think she's as bad as Skadge for BH, but she's definitely in that class of "that friend we all hate" on my agent's crew.

I'm pretty sure it depends on the choices made since I remember quite a few Agent players being positively giggly they were finally able to kill her off.

She can die in Fallen Empire, I think the complaint is about not being able to do it back in vanilla when she arguably deserved it more. In the expansion she doesn't do anything that your insurgency isn't also doing.

The only companion I've ever clicked the execute button on is Quinn because he somehow didn't learn his lesson the first time.

Since one of my major complaints with SWTOR (and Bioware in general, really) is excessive companion bloat, I mostly will be looking towards not recruiting/killing off companions who aren't romanced or aren't personal faves since all I need is just one to chuck heals at me when I need them. Since some of the romanced have kill off options, that pretty much has me not able to just skip the Zakuul stuff, and I've been wanting to kill off Kaliyo, Skadge and Corso since my characters first encountered them as well.

Looking around, I guess Dulfy's the closest to having a list of choices with repercussions for KotFE/FT.

Is the new content safe to play yet? Even after their emergency fix for the world state bug I didn't start it because the game still talked about using preset choices and the flurry of people mentioning companion issues.

After all these years I'm still really attached to that old character even if I only play this game when new story comes out nowadays :v:

There's still some issues with companions having duplicates but it's not a huge deal. For the preset choices, thats not a bug and will be for if you skip content - if you did everything up til 5.10, you'll keep those choices (though there are some visual bugs in the interface from what I hear).

Pretty sure I did everything, accepting Theron back (or not) is the end, right?

But yeah, when I go to start the mission on my ship it does this:

Everyone gets that. All my old choices seemed to work fine, the only thing that's messed up is some of the descriptions in the companion and contacts window, but it doesn't affect the story.

I think worst-case remaining bug is some people have both Dark and Light Jaesa available to them, but the wrong one is going to be removed in the future (so don't pour gifts into the other one, for example). Given that this bug is 'in favor of the player', though, really not a huge deal to go ahead and play right now.

Considering how much I remember of the Bioware forums when they existed, nope, still not surprised at all. Though I will admit a mix of surprise and horror at how much Khem Val porn art's been posted around celebrating the flirt.

Yeah it's pretty goddamn awful. Actually being able to romance Light side Jaesa would have been nice? But Darkside she just goes all "Give me a child on this pile of bloody baby skulls!!!"

I disagree, but only for the fact that I find ultrahedonist Jaesa to be loving hilarious. It's so enthusiastic it crosses the line into cartoonish.

Jaesa is a great character. She's so desperate for something to believe in again that she goes full throttle at whatever path you suggest for her. She's a kid trying to form an identity and sense of belonging.

The main story is just missing the final acts of her arc where she rebels against you (for not being "dark" or "light" enough) and goes her own way, eventually coming back older, wiser and more balanced.

Nadia and Jaesa can start a romance with female Consular and female Warrior respectively after Ossus story.

If you consider a single brief conversation a romance anyways.

No, he's saying the opposite. Old companions with new romance arcs/conversations added since Makeb are either. I don't know if there's enough in the conversations to say if they're bi, they're probably just gay or straight depending on the PC's gender.

For the last update it was Khem, Nadia and Jaesa. Not sure if it's only LS and DS remains straight only or what though. Someone will answer that shortly, I'm sure.

My only character through KOTFE stuff is single now because of the lovely misleading dialogue prompt.
