Bootleg as it is, I'd get it, it could be useful...although if it can be at that harsh of a discount, I fear what it may do to the Switch's own battery. Also I brought a bunch of bootlegs of my own, found today on a shop close to my house.

Yeah the Switch has undocumented ways of dealing with power, while I’m sure a power bank might not cause the issues the docks have... best not risk it.

My guess is that it's not actually 10000 mAh and probably more likely only 1000 or something. It reminds me of a scam with flash drives, where its advertised as 120gig (or whatever) on the packaging/product but then when you actually plug it in its only a 4gig.

I have to squint to see the prices but it looks like Alien Soldier and Mother 3 at least are going for $50? Also god drat, those care bears need to be burned, there's no way those aren't infested with every sort of parasite imaginable.

Wouldn't be surprised if it's more a Star Wars rip off than a video game. It's not like the name "Mega Man" is that unique. I mean, in 86, a year before the game, the WWF had a wrestler who went be the name "Mega Man" Tom Magee.

There's a few unreleased ones, some fan translations, Earthbound is just the original English Mother release, and they had a MLP: Friendship is Magic NES game too. $40-50 for these honestly isn't too bad. A few years back I ordered some of these for a buddy and they were like, $80 plus the donor cart and shipping. Probably way easier to get now though, there's probably even a market for new blank boards.

Like some of the solid games like the two Battle Kid ones in the homebrew world really frown on distributing roms and prefer you buy physical carts.

That said, any repro cart will be essentially identical to Earthbound Beginnings on the VC, since they used the script the prototype had. I'm pretty sure that's also the case with Sin and Punishment, which likewise was meant to get an American release but got kneecapped at the last minute because of executives.
