This is the sort of cliched poo poo that isn't believable when it goes in bad movies. And yet, hanging suspended from a rope above an ever building fire was an actual thing that happened in this dude's life. He's got impressive arm strength.

I want to see the OSHA rear end action movie this is from, where the construction worker hero fights the bad guy some scaffolding and they both fall off, but the hero is safe because he always wears his PPE. The bad guy is a corporate lobbyist or something.

Does it really take that long to move / lower those buckets? Feels like that thing should be halfway toward dropping that guy off on the ground by the end of that and yet it has barely perceptibly moved.

If you move fast, you will need to possibly brake fast, and with the boom extended you have inertia issues and all that. It would really lead to some quality OSHA related stuffs though if they did.

Also, the guys pulling at the tarp or whatever that’s on fire. What are you trying to save. Imagined posted:Does it really take that long to move / lower those buckets? Feels like that thing should be halfway toward dropping that guy off on the ground by the end of that and yet it has barely perceptibly moved. The building we rent space in has one. It takes like 2 minutes to move 20 feet. Scissor lifts, the platforms on wheels that go straight up and down, are even slower if you’re moving with the platform raised.
