I'd imagine they have an interest in preventing big scams being the norm or else their whole business model would collapse and no one would give to any of the campaigns once there was a widespread perception that "these are all or mostly scams".

I feel like the Dems missed a beat by not having hard numbers on how many contractors are totally and utterly hosed no matter how and when this ends. Speaking from my personal life, we're reaching a point where a lot of them may not be back when the government reopens because they can't just take off a month without pay and wait longer to see when it reopens.

It brings me back to not understanding why the government outsources so much anyway (I know, it's because the contractor companies can do the work for less because they can pay less and offer poo poo or no benefits while lining the pockets of the owners that fund campaigns)

In my part of government we contract because we're not big enough to need someone around with that expertise for more than one job. We generally end up paying more than hiring someone in house would be, because the contractor can start being productive from day one.

If you hate yourself go check out the threads about the super punchable MAGA chud kid who got caught antagonizing that old Native dude at the March for life protest. Apparently that kid is the real hero and we should all hope to be so brave in the face of such hatred... Jesus loving Christ, usually I'm fairly immune to freeps particular brand of hatred but for some reason this poo poo just set me off today and I had to stop.
