This guy completely sucks but this does make me hopeful that this shithead MAGA kid's PR campaign will backfire. Being active all across reddit seems to be important for these accounts. But with Star Citizen shills, it's like they can only afford 15-30k karma accounts. Even for their big news. Most Tesla shill accounts start at 30k karma and go from there. It's usually big narrative changing stuff where I see the 100-200k karma accounts. Like there was a story on /r/teslamotors about supercharging costs going up, the thread that had people complaining, at like the 6 hour mark I saw the thread, there was a clear narrative set by a large 100k account, followed by the usual 'feign ignorance but LETS DEFINTIELY have a discussion about your ideas'. Some of it's probably the boring nature of reddits users and how it's upvoting structure only lets the biggest poo poo piles to the top. But ya, if you follow the BIG tech cults, for whom reddit already houses most of their users already, it's the perfect marketing tool. And there is an interesting pattern that develops whenever The Company needs to make a tough decision that affects the end user negatively. There is always a time where the community is allowed to vent, couple hours, and than these big rear end accounts come in reassuring everyone. And the responses to those all follow the same ask a question you already know the answer to back and forth thing.
