I wonder what the Arghoslent discourse would be if they were still actively releasing stuff. When I was getting into metal they were the ultimate example of a “yes I know they’re horrible but the riffs are so good!” band but it’s harder and harder to excuse them now, even if you pirate everything. Kind of surprised they haven’t used the alt right movement to boost their profile.

Kind of surprised they haven’t used the alt right movement to boost their profile. i don't think they care about the alt right(which mostly isn't the same type of people who play in metal bands anyway) or whatever political movement, they're just extremely racist. their website actually does say they're working on new material but even if they release something i don't think it will be a big change, they're clearly not interested in what anyone thinks of them and weren't able to play live outside of places like finland anyway even when they were more active.
