I would like to point out that this is only $5 and really awesome. https://ripper.bandcamp.com/album/speed-and-violence its like weird speed metal crossed with NWOBHM and then with your typical south american thrash metal vocals.

This album is pretty cool. Not good at describing metal, but seems to be a guy shouting dramatically over synths, blastbeats and riffs, slightly cosmic feel. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f3P44gqdbDs&t=3307s

^ Seconded, that is a cool album. Listened to it a fair few times over the last few months. Vaguely folky atmo-black with insane rambling spoken word vocals, is how I'd shortly describe it.

Or that there might be right wing people that hate him too and they happen to be in metal bands, a segment of culture well known for pushing the boundaries. (I know nothing of eyehategod's political leanings) Nope, anyone that does something mean against him is by default a liberal.

Everyone always posts that song and calls Eyehategod racist but they're like the opposite of it. Mike grew up on early hardcore and Discharge and heavily left-leaning stuff like that, it would SHOCK me if he was anything but some type of crazy anarchist. Also there's the countless photos of him wearing hammer-and-sickle shirts and stuff like that. Also read his poetry book it's pretty good.

I don’t think he’s racist but he’s definitely OK with putting “friend of the family” in print on an album.

A lot of white left leaning punk bands dropped the n-word in their songs. Big Boys actually used that title first.

Just that considering Eyehategod are heavily influenced by hardcore and crust punk, it’s more likely they took cues from that scene than it is that they’re right wing racists.
