He presents at libertarian conferences along with other significant figures in the movement, his books are read and cited by other libertarians, etc. He's quite confident that 'covenant communities' that 'physically remove' leftists, homosexuals and other deviants are not only compatible but necessary for libertarianism. I'm just wondering what you know that he and his supporters don't?

You do this as it is convenient in this moment, but just a little earlier were expressing your hopes for Bernier. Bernier is clearly authoritarian, he clearly has a vision he wants to enforce on people, especially minorities. And sure, the NDSAP has socialist in it, it is similar to how the DPRK has the word democratic in it. Neither of these groups has ever taken the mantel of those labels in any serious way. Nazis do not identify as socialist, they never did, it was a naming convention holdover from post-ww1 politics; they persecuted socialists. That sort of "gotcha" is such a tired and sad defense. You can say all these libertarians aren't actually libertarians and don't represent the movement, but they do. They are who we all collectively identify as libertarians, and they identify themselves that way as well. You can't just redraw the borders of identity at will for the sake of an argument. Be an anti-authoritarian, thats a good thing to be. For the love of god though, examine why it is that all these "libertarians" (whether you accept the term or not) just seem to have ideas that would unleash some of the worst authoritarian abuses on the poor and underprivileged. Why bother to tear down an unjust society just to build an even crueler and uncaring one?

if youre libertarian because you want to abolish the state and create a power vaccum that would allow you or your group to impose your authority on others, you werent libertarian in the first place, that was just the vehicle you chose to hide your authoritarianism and like i said that can be done with any ideology. and it has nothing to do with economics, thats why you have libertarian communists and all kinds of stuff.

If you abolish the state, which in a democracy, no matter how flawed, is the means through which most people can exercise any molecule of power, how do you get anything other than a power vacuum in which those possessing excess power already impose their authority on those without? This question ignores you continuing to no true Scotsman, also ignores your earlier statement about Bernier being at least somewhat libertarian. Despite his obvious authoritarianism. Libertarianism is nothing but a vehicle for the wealthy to launder their authoritarianism. Its not even pursued genuinely by those funding it, they don't even want the state to be abolished, just remade in their image. There are true-believers doing the grunt work for sure, but its an ideology that doesn't hold up to scrutiny. It's weirdo's with "pet" issues surrounding laws they'd like to see overturned, or the ultra-rich looking to push towards even lower taxes and a completely dependent underclass of subject workers/consumers.
