With some practice you can process stuff up to a lot higher than that (I know blind people using text to voice often are up at 10x or higher) and it saves a ridiculous amount of time.

I really don't get why there isn't more pushback on the GOP reps repeatedly calling Cohen a liar. I mean...the lie was him saying that he, Trump and the Trump Campaign/Organization, didn't commit specific crimes and specific actions. That was what he lied about. There was proof that he lied about those things not happening. He is going to prison because he said those things didn't happen. Which means that they happened and there is proof that they happened. If those things did not happen, then how could there be proof that saying they didn't happen is false? Every single time they call Cohen a liar they are admitting that Trump did the crimes. This should be all over the place. They need to be asked how Cohen being a liar squares with Trump not being criminally liable for the things Cohen lied about by saying they didn't happen. This should be the only question they get from anyone for weeks.

I normally dislike Cumming's mumbling but when he goes he goes, whoo boy It did make me chuckle a bit when he correctly pointed out that the term "rat" means "snitch" in prison. Cohen is not going anywhere where that would make a difference.

Contemporary politics has nothing to do with persuading people that the argument you're advancing is correct; it's corralling people into a holistic worldview that shields itself from external criticism.
