I believe you can do B) through the settings, but I am not sure. My Android app let me skip back 15 seconds and forward 30 seconds, and I was able to adjust that. I now have an iPhone, so I can't check it.

I'm seeing the ability to modify the length of the skip, but it only affects the app when open, not the controls on the dialogue  Was hoping there was some sort of setting that I was missing since the rest of the app is so convoluted.
