I don’t think Melody did anything when she was still on the show other than be the third pussycat.

We don’t make money curing people, only treating them.” This makes more sense than a gargoyle king, too.

I couldn't get through the latest episode. It was so bad. Even the visual style didn't do it for me.

It worked for me. Seemed like a typical episode, even moved things along. Was a good pace. All the women on the show gonna burn their houses down.

I haven't finished the new episode yet, but I have to ask: Is anyone else kind of wondering why Veronica doesn't just kill her parents?

Saw the new episode. It was better because it has parts where they actually went to school and saw their friends in between running underground casinos and gangs.

I've been not enjoying this bit of the season too much, but the last two episodes have been really enjoyable imho. I'm glad Gina Gershon finally realized what kind of show she's in and is hamming it the gently caress up

IDK, i don't think they'd kill off FP permanently. He's a pretty popular character. The likes of Claudius and Cliff Blossom, sure, but not the Hot Riverdale Dad #1.

Phylodox posted:Especially since it seemed like they were foreshadowing FP dying so hard this episode. There won’t be any solid paternal figures left. It's pretty clear they were setting up FP to die. It's dark irony that a fictional character's life might be spared because a real life person died. If the plan was to kill off FP there's no way they're going to do it now. It must be really tough to be in that writer's room right now. They're dealing with the shock of an actual death and at the exact same time trying to figure out how to fix the last few episodes of their tv show and do some kind of heartfelt tribute to a beloved actor and character that doesn't piss anyone off and also doesn't blow up all their storylines. And it's not like they have a lot of options on the table. But if Fast and the Furious can pull it off...

There is only madness that way. FP is fifty, but he had a child during high school, which would be fake-Chick's age. Either that guy was supposed to be far beyond 30, or FP was held up quiet a bit. It's safe to assume that this is a comic book timeline, where there can be three concurrent christmasses in the same year. cant cook creole bream fucked around with this message at 20:31 on Mar 16, 2019 |

That Fred, FP, Veronica's mom, and Sheriff Keller are all supposed to be the same age and were teenagers in the mid-90s (who all listen to 80s music) and are now all 50-ish is hilarious. I'll assume that aside from everything else happening in Riverdale there's a time-dilation wormhole there also. Good call.

I'm really sad that FP and Fred apparently always wished they could be neighbours and the universe decided that we'll never get to see them on screen doing dumb neighbourly dad things like stand around on their respective porches in undershirts, can of beer in hand comparing the greenness of their lawns.

So THAT'S why Cole doesn't sing. I liked the usage of both the original show's lyrics and the updated West End lyrics (which are heavily featured in Big Fun), admittedly a bit watered down for Television.

1.) I really hope Betty's pyromania continues to escalate just burn the farm down Betty, burn them all! 2.) Toni Topaz is probably the most emotionally mature person on this show, not that that's saying much. Glad they've been giving her more screen-time lately. 3.) Veronica has spent the past few episodes legitimately afraid that her father might have her mother killed, before that she was thought (correctly) that her mother had paid someone to have her father shot, a season ago her mother straight up told her she has never loved her father, basically every interaction Hiram and Hermione have ever had together has been toxic, I guess what I'm trying to say is: Veronica being both surprised and upset that her horrible parents are getting divorced after all that is utterly unbelievable bullshit even by this shows standards.
