Exactly. Now, if the deck lid was connected to the tonneau cover and it all lifted up, or the decklid was actually a tailgate and tonneau, *then* we'd be talking.
I'm determined at some point to convert one of my derelict RX-7s into a rotary pickup, but I want an actual, working tailgate and bed, even if tiny. That's why I like the Smyth conversions so much - they're working utes.

You do know an actual rotary pickup already exists, and it's *amazing*?

Not the Rs (all together now: That's what she said :haw:), he's got the regular NS-2 delivered to go on. Performance isn't really the goal here, just safe/legal for the lowest price that doesn't give what are blatantly Hedgemasters.

That is the one people know as a ditchfinder, or at least in mr2 circles. Usually because it was one of the 3 different tyres you could get for the standard wheels for a while and it was the cheapest. There have definitely been a few mr2s written off wearing those.

The NS-2R I see on quite a few lighter track cars and it seems to work ok for a budget track tyre. The AR-1 is Nankangs R888R equivalent which are meant to be on par, Bape LS M3 guy runs em.

It's probably still the best he'll find at 50 a corner fitted, though. The R is 50% more than that, a which point he'd be better with something from a bigger brand.

Absolutely, but they are rare, and relatively expensive. I already have dead RX-7s, and its that didnt start out as trucks are cool. I also really like to ruin build stuff.
I do regret not angling more for a REPU a schoolmate in high school had. It had a Ford 292 in it, but was a genuine rotary truck. I didnt have a billion RX-7s back then, or recognize the worth of it.

Love me some Nazareth.

I mean it looks rad as gently caress (it is a whole vinyl wrap) but that van is going to drive like absolute rear end. Those oversized tires and that lift is going to make a slow vehicle glacial. Heaven help you if it is a diesel.

There is two other ones done you by the same people that look just as rad.
