Isn't Meteo more traditionally a Time Mage spell?

Edit: Actually, it's already the BLM limit break, isn't it?

Still love you, Homar

Still pretty new to FFXIV, only have ARR for now. What is the deal with free server transfers coming up, and why do people do it? I'm on Goblin (NA) now but not committed to it for any reason. What factors go into making the decision? Where is everyone going?

It's mostly clothing mods unless you mean Stormshade. The downside is that there's nothing for male PCs much like how SE feels about them.

Also, I saw something about preferred servers not being able to use it? I hope I'm not stuck in place because I happened to go with the server the game recommended for me on my trial.

Basically all you need to know is

Excalibur - This is the server all the goons are on
Balmung - This is the server where all the roleplayers are
Omega - This is the server where all the Euro goons are.

Which server is on which datacenter (you can only cross server play with people on the same datacenter) is getting shuffled around because right now certain datacenters are disproportionately fat.

Meteor is more often Black Magic in games that have that classification.

Also, Time Mage isn't actually that common a Job, it only appears in FFV, FFT, FFTA(2), and FF12 Zodiac Edition.

That's all.

From what I understand in order to launch it you will have to connect to Steam's auth servers. When ESO made this change people started regularly being unable to log in at all for days at a time because Steam's auth servers are garbage

Wait a sec; you can feed your chocobo random foods? And that's how you change their color (just googled it)? Do you have to go to a stable or can you just "directly" feed them? I found a website that tells me what to feed the Chocobo to get a particular color.

It has to be in a stable. If you don't have a house or your FC doesn't have a house you can access a stable through buying an apartment.

While my understanding of Balmung (I've never been able to get into it) is that it's relatively tame in public, note that you can log in to Mateus, walk into the Quicksand to complete the first quest, and immediately find yourself surrounded by people openly ERPing. Choose your starting server wisely :v:

They're thinking of Comet, which is a spell usually associated with Time Mages. It's typically a multi-hit attack that summons a bunch of small fireballs vs. Meteor, which is typically a gigantic loving rock.

I mean if you mean non erotic mods there are occasionally the few good mods that aren't just porting kmmo clothes over that remove some of the extraneous and bad knickknacks a lot of outfits have. Also trust in fetish artists to completely redo every hand and foot model in the game to actually look good and not block, that's a good mod.

Both the Arrow card and Lightspeed act like analogues to Haste and they also have Time Dilation and Celestial Opposition for extending the time of beneficial effects. Also Earthly Star requires some degree of time management to optimize.

"Functionally haste" is not "Haste, the iconic FF spell." I mean, does wearing skill speed gear count as Haste too? There's room for some mechanical overlap, but we don't have the Time Mage kit.
