I'm not big on Steamworld universe lore but it just looked like a Spire clone to me. So many games use that static vector art but resized and wobbled for animation style nowadays that they all blend together.

persona 5 arena would be Team Blu and probablyu fairly epic if Persona 4 Arena is anything to go by. It would be sprites, not 3D, which is cooler.
