I clock out of Trump soundbites for months at a time because I don't want to hear his stupid loving voice and watch his gross mouth, and each time I come back I'm always mildly shocked at how much he seems to have deteriorated. A lot of dogs are having to retire because they alert on marijuana and now that's legal; other dogs are being retired because the agencies have decided that floppy ear dogs are less scary than pointy ear dogs so they're shifting to all floppies; and a lot of dogs are dying from fentanyl because it's so ridiculously toxic.

And unless I missed something, his take that Sanders has severely limited growth potential because there aren't enough angry Dem primary voters, which is definitely a spicy one, was not supported by reference to any polling.

A reduction in demand for a commodity will put downward pressure on the cost of that commodity which results in less revenue and thus profits and power to those who sell that commodity and unless it's the demand for those other products out strips the demand for petroleum as a power source using alternative power sources will result in less demand , lower profits and less power for petro-states. It's not that your argument is wrong, it's just not relevant to the discussion.
