https://www.engadget.com/2019/04/21/ai-generated-death-metal-stream/ Someone created an AI that creates a nonstop stream of tech-death forever. A lot of it is clearly a mess, but if you listen long enough you'll find some parts of it that are actually pretty awesome.

I randomly came across this elsewhere. Watching it on mute as a music video to this stream has heightened the experience considerably.

Opened the stream explicitly to see the chat, first message I see is someone saying it's better than Dying Fetus and chuckled to myself.

It's been a bit since I went through 20 buck spins latest offerings, and came across this: https://listen.20buckspin.com/album/urine-of-abomination Music is OK, but the selected review is where the goodies are at: quote:Great Music! I can really realate to the emotional charge... although I fail to see how you can admonish God , knowing every individual has been granted free will by Him. They are more than likely responsible for every hatred you may entertain upon another's enactment of said personal access to such an individual sovereign privelege. We all see how it plays out......And do we pursue it in violence or empathy? I would purport violence can offer no remedy to ignorance and personal choice. Although, love and forgiveness seem to transcend each one's own personal understanding of random things. Either there joyful or regretful experience. Each weighs on our singular existence......So I would only ask then. Would you murder in ignorant vengeance, or, nurture in perfect and undemanding love? That can set apart..........Your music glorifies abominable truths in dark places. And I can celeveate the truth and ultimate defeat of it the end through your compositions....and I thank you for that!!!! God bless.

I love Harpo’s I just wish it actually had shows go through it these days. First day of my senior year of high school I had my car broken into and the ignition stripped outside of Harpos. Key wouldn’t turn. Of course with no cell phones then we had to hoof it to a pay phone and try to find someone to pick us up. Still best venue in the city, though.

Absolutely no indication in the music that this is a "virtual band" based on a silly webcomic. Just drat high quality straight-up melodic blackened death. Pretty sure the vocalist is from Insomnium, and I wouldn't be surprised if it turned out some other members were too. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g6cjum5aHsE

They also even replaced the paper towels in the bathroom and there was not an inch of standing water in it. This is shocking. I once stood in line for the "bathroom" for like 10 minutes during a Slayer show and it ended up just being dudes pissing in a trashcan. I was not above doing it because I had already waited in line for so loving long.

I must have watched the South of Heaven video 100 times at Harpo's. Also for some reason the Rednex version of "Cottton-Eye Joe"
