If I have kids my strongest advice to them would be, unless they're really dedicated to going into law or medicine or something else that takes like eight years to get started in, to take not just one gap year but several. Go travel, go work, go get a taste of what the real world is like, then start uni in your early 20s. Going directly from high school to tertiary study is not ideal. At least it wasn't for me, my first degree was a waste of time and money.

"It's a very low act and shouldn't be in a political arena," Mr Bakr said.

"I started and operated Big Impact for 11 years. We've done many political campaigns for Labor, for Liberals, for corporations, for small business - we've never had such aggressive attacks on the trucks like this, on the billboards."

Mr Bakr said it was particularly egregious as it affected him and his employees, not any politicians.

"It goes to us and we have nothing to do with it, we're just operators."

They were parked in Ainslie, near the Ainslie football club where the Liberal party held its ACT campaign launch yesterday.

A spokeswoman for the Canberra Liberals campaign blasted the vandalism.

"Those responsible for this abhorrent behaviour have no respect for their fellow Canberrans, no respect for the small business owner or truck drivers just doing their job."

The trucks, which features images of Labor leader Bill Shorten and Chief Minister Andrew Barr include the words "Labor will tax you to death".

Spray paint was used on the other truck, which took issue with the billboard's message and also spray painted the number plate as well.

The police hadn't been involved, Mr Bakr said, as his priority was getting the trucks back to the depot and cleaned up and on the road again.

"To persist with the campaign and the message that we will not be stopped."

The figure i'm quoting was specifically to students who started a degree in 2010. Of those students, only 64% have completed a degree.

I'd like to find larger aggregates, if you can find them.

The Labor candidate was forced to apologise on Friday for posting an Islamic State-inspired image online depicting Malcolm Turnbull severing the head of ABC journalist Emma Alberici. His Facebook page was deleted that afternoon.

When asked about Mr Kurnoth on Friday, Opposition Leader Bill Shorten described him as �incredibly stupid� but refused to disendorse him as a Labor �candidate.

Dvir Abramovich, chairman of the Anti-Defamation Commission, said it was highly alarming that a Labor candidate has shared the �virulent anti-Jewish rantings� of Mr Icke.

According to the commission, Mr Icke believes Jewish people bankrolled Adolf Hitler, caused the 2008 global financial crisis and staged the 9/11 terrorist attacks in New York, and that far-right groups are fronts for Jewish �people.

�Words of hate and incitement matter, and it�s deeply troubling that a candidate running for elected �office has trafficked in longstanding anti-Semitic conspiracy theories,�� Dr Abramovich said.

He called on Mr Kurnoth to apologise and publicly dissociate himself from the anti-Semitic posts.

�Such bigoted slurs and scapegoating � have no place in Australian politics,�� he said.
