In that position it’s one of the preamp valves, and assuming they’re not having a laugh I’d have guessed that it’s lost vacuum from how cloudy it looks.

I swear there's some product that's transistor based but plugs into the dual-triode sockets and it might be this?

That's not even an actual song in any way. It's just the same 10 second long basic pentatonic lick sloppily played over and over without any variation, chord progression, dynamics, anything at all, while mumbling something about how gangsta his neighborhood is. FOR 4 MINUTES STRAIGHT! I would have thought it was a parody song if the youtube account didn't also have lots of other Romeo Rose videos. (According to the other videos on his account, he can definitely be a noodle boy, and there are clips of him (also sloppily) playing Van Halen and Randy Rhodes solos).

Romeo Rose has been terminally online for years. I remember him getting run off Harmony Central at least a decade ago for constant egomaniacal thread making GBS threads. He wasn't any more entertaining back then but the race baiting thing is fairly new and came out during his Lonely In Austin dating ads phase I think. He's always been a useless oval office though.

While they are incredibly technical in their polyrhythmic sound, and many of the guitar riffs are mostly about picking a single deeeeeeep note in time with the bass drum runs, they are also incredibly groovy and organic. I could watch videos of Haake playing for hours. He's like Dave Lombaro, plays advanced metal and is so on time you could use him to calibrate your metronome, but still plays organic and punchy like a punk rock drummer.
