In my Abi-Jahrgang, the actual drat teachers petitioned to whatever Fachausschuss of the Kultusministerium because the schriftliches Chemie Abi was apparently not only unverhältnismäßig schwer, but had questions with content from outside the Gymnasialsyllabus. They also told me I had the shared-best Chemie Abi of the city with a handful of other people... with 7 Punkte. Cs get degrees, y'all  /ninjaedit, wait, is 7 Punkte already a Vier? Welp  /edit: Can't spell "Degree" without a D

4 Punkte are the lowest 4, so 7 Punkte are a 3-. You can feel smug again. I think the real issue here is that students were specifically only studying maths during holidays, overwhelmingly more than other topics, and still felt like that didn't do much. It points more towards math being overproportionally important, tough, and also probably badly taught if it's so difficult for so many people.

Reminds me of my Chemie Abi where like two hours in one of the teachers got dropped and went "Oh yeah, they just called us and it looks like they forgot to include a variable for this one section and it's not solvable without it. Here's the value you're supposed to use." Meanwhile I'd somehow managed to arrive at a solution without that variable.

The bus user hierarchy in Hesse is as follows: Top are crazy people who can sit wherever they want because they will just stand there and say crazy things at you until you leave the seat. Next are olds with their various Gehhilfen who of course do take up a lot of space but who can blame them? Next are people with 1-3 bicycles which you can inexplicably transport for free here. They will sit somewhere initially, but will be forced to jump up when their bikes start rolling through the bus autonomously and crushing people. Next are rude old ladies who start yelling the second any non white person dares to offend them in any way whatsoever, like having an accent or standing in the standing area. How you sit does not really seem to be a factor, probably because we wisely don't have the type of continuous side bench that makes manspreading problematic. I am so glad that I'll be leaving this place

My two favourites are the old lady with dementia who wears a comically oversized poker dealer's visor from the 1960s and likes to literally cuddle with strangers on the bus, and calling them süße Schmetterlinge And the 90 year old dude with two clubbed feet who can barely speak normally and instead spends his time on the bus loudly singing old Wehrmacht songs of questionable content
