Whenever you get to a new planet hover over the junction to see what you need to do. Then make a beeline straight for the junction doing whatever you need to unlock it on the way. Do quests whenever they become available to you. If you ever get stuck cause of difficulty go back and clear nodes you skipped on your way through the planets. Look up/ask about anything you don't understand on the way and know that if you understand everything without looking it up or asking about it you're a goddamn freak. That's what I found the most fun as you get a nice variety of new content that way. Plus having an overall plan is real helpful for not feeling lost early on. Once you are more experienced you'll understand the game enough to be able to make your own plans but not for a while. EDIT: Don't level up FLAWED mods. They'll be labelled like that and the game drops them on you during the early game. It's not the end of the world as they're cheap to level anyways, but you'll be throwing them away soon enough so might as well save the resources. Is warframe fine with a controller? I'd really rather do that, since that what I used on PS4, but I know that using kb+m usually is more accurate or whatever.

Weapon skins exist already. The ones you want are just usually parts of bundles. That said, I don't think there are skins for exalted weapons yet, aside from the differences we get on primed frames. Skill skins could be interesting. And did someone say teeming virulence umbral nidus? Need to finish releveling him after dropping the umbra forma in there. Alongside napalm grenade secpenta for a lovely one-two punch (riven stats include bonus from TV). Looking forward to seeing the toxin procs from that beast in high level content.

I play on PC exclusively with an xbox one controller. If you use an Ignis Wraith, Arca Plasmor or Catchmoon kit gun then how accurate you are doesn't matter. Or you can use Mirage and it doesn't matter what type of gun you have. If you tap R1 then it'll use the currently selected warframe power which is handy for stuff that needs aiming. There's a setting which makes shooting a melee attack after you do the first melee attack. That's really handy. I've also changed left and right on the d-pad to using gear wheel slots so I can quickly get an energy pizza or archwing deployer.

I like to bind crouch to L1 and jump to R1 as it makes parkour a billion times easier. I also bind my powers individually to the d-pad cause selecting them from the power wheel is rear end. Both those things are still worse than m+kb but close the gap pretty nicely. Set up your binds in Steam and leave the ingame ones on default. Steam's system is much more robust.

Motion controls improve controller fine aiming by a large amount - still no mouse but very usable. But be aware that motion control left/right is on the yaw axis which means you have to turn the controller left and right like a steering wheel not move it to the left or right.

I meant PoE has actual weapon skin transfers, imagine you could make your Hek look like an Arca Plasmor (I only think about this because I use a Buzlok with a Riven and it's just so ugly  )

also a fun fact the amprex needs a combined +crit chance modifier of +525% to get guaranteed orange crits (and +837.5% for guaranteed red crits) and is an absolutely fantastic weapon for nidus due to the synergy between larva and chain beam weapons point strike is 150% teeming virulence gets you the rest of the way (375%) at 313% ability strength or higher guaranteed red crits are possible but require silly investments (some combination of argon scope, a crit chance riven with a negative, silly amounts of ability strength mods, and counting on ally link to boost your ability strength higher) Tuxedo Catfish fucked around with this message at 16:20 on May 5, 2019 |

Thanks to the goons who helped get me up to speed on some questions tonight, and ran me through the Index a couple of times. We got swarmed by some Wolfman during a mobile defense mission (I think) to get me funded for the index, and it was a little crazy. Anyway, seems like there are some cool people in the clan, and I appreciate it.

Get used to Marv Wolfman, his appearance rate has gotten pretty high at this stage in the Nightwave season event. Fortunately, even if he attacks in a solo mission and you're not equipped to fight him, the worst he can do is kill you and leave, and death is cheap in Warframe.

Wow the Jordas Golem Archwing Assassination mission is some boring rear end poo poo, especially if you use an Imperator and just sit there holding down M1 and occasionally dodging. (My Grattler and Larkspur are ranks 4 and 0). AND I have to run it a bunch more times to get the atlas systems and chassis AND hope the parts I need drop so I don't have to do them much more than twice. I hope when Railjack comes out they can make Archwing combat fun. I mean when you're flying a jetpack in space with a big gun and giant sword, you'd think that would be somewhat enjoyable to do

All frames you can farm for free, Garuda comes from bounties in Fortuna so is pretty easy to get hold of once you've got a nicely set up frame and weapon loadout. Garuda isn't that bad - you're thinking of Baruuk / Hildryn - you just need to run bounties in Fortuna for the blueprints. It's not totally frictionless, you still need toroids and multiple bounty runs, but that's well within the realm of possibility. The blood splatter though, yeah, that's a toughie and requires all that faction guff and a rare drop from a real mother.
