He didn't tell the Apple developers about Macintosh so they developed a bad rear end Apple product using the old OS which was essentially thrown away in '84. Even though he was a stoner visionary, he was hateful to his employees.

I was going to post about the demise of YMND but Its from 2001. Maybe next year we should start up a PYF Early 2000s things. But that made me wonder, what were the first places to host memes or even just Memes? Honestly the first thing I could say was a meme was All Your Base Are Belong To Us, but that again is from 2000s, so there has to be stuff from before that.

In 2 hours when this jpg called madonnanude.jpg finishes I'll know. Though Nazis on the internet existed back then too. Honestly, after the horrors of internet porn, there were a lot of scare stories about Nazis and the Klan using the internet to recruit. Doesn't Bobby Hill accidentally go to a White Supremacist site after searching for white and funny?

If we say the first few seasons of SNL are the golden age, would you agree that the early 90s era was the golden age? Like it was probably the most culturally during the Mike Meyers/Adam Sandler/Dana Carvey/Phil Hartman era. Speaking of that, I highly recomend watching Too Funny to Fail, the story of the Dana Carvey show. its facinating how they set it up to be a huge failure, but it was also made up of basically who comedy will be in the next decade. I remember watching the first episode and going "what the gently caress is going on? Is Bill Clinton feeding puppies with nipples on his body??? This is amazing but why is it on after Home Improvement?"

I looked it up once, and that era really was a powerhouse of comedy, which is why the era that followed it was so disappointing. Will Ferrell was never my cup of tea, but that's all the next era ever had.

This probably has something to do with it, but there are eras of the show that are clearly better and create bigger stars than others. It's not like music where what you think was the best music is what you listened to when you were 17.
