I got my Nick Cage sequin pillow case today. Not bad. I think that the Cage face is airbrush-printed on the one side because if the sequins are not lined up right, you can see white outlines in the shape of the overlapping sequin. Going to see if I can find a pillow to fit it tomorrow.

On one hand: fair. On the other hand: you can't really expect too much from something powered by a port that's not designed to power high draw equipment.

By all means order one and post a trip report, though.

I'm looking to get a bulk order of backpacks or small bags. Putting together toiletry kits for the homeless in my area. Amazon has 24 backpacks for $130. A cursory look in Ali and I can't find any bulk backpacks. Can one of you gurus help me out?

This may be a situation for Alibaba proper since they will do bulk discounts.

Nah min quantities are often as low as 10-12 for stuff like this

Jihad Me At Hello posted:

It truly is. Another thing to consider if you are working with an actual (recognized non-profit) charity is to just hit up your local office supply stores. Years ago I worked for Staples and managers were allowed to give out ~$100 worth of gift cards to local charities at their discretion but would do even more with a formal petition to corporate. The free money/discounts may make it easier than jumping through all these hoops. Either way I wish you the best of luck, that is a v. cool and admirable thing to undertake.

Why not message an ali seller and see what he can offer for a bulk order?

Looks like I might try toiletry bags. They're 1-2 bucks a pop for a hundred or so on Alibaba. On express they're a bit pricey for bulk. And really backpacks might not serve a great purpose. I don't want to hand someone something they can't actually use.

That's a great idea. Get ones that look like they might be kinda waterproof and can be zipped up or sealed.

Have you tried asking an actual homeless person or person who has experience with this sort of stuff? I'd hate for your well meanings to land off center :v: Definitely ask around a charity, perhaps.

Giving basic necessities to someone in need isn't a bad thing or unwanted. It might not be their brand of toothpaste but I think it'll be ok.
