I wasn’t really impressed by any of the Spanish stuff but it’s not for me so I’ll leave it to its intended audience to decide whether it was a good idea (or well executed) or not. But was Beto really reading canned lines? (Again, I’m not in a position to know.) Considering where he’s from and that he was essentially named by an ambitious father to pander to Latinx voters, I would think he would be fluent. Surprising that he’s not.
