Seriously, I'd actually be really glad if faschofreundliche platforms like Twitter or Facebook finally cleaned up their act and stopped giving rightwing nutjobs a platform. Of course that is not how our dear government is going to handle it. So nah und doch so fern. I get the same feeling whenever I see campaigns against the porn industry and how it exploits its workers - I go all "oh cool!" until I see it's a campaign by some overzealous Christian group that says masturbation is evil and women cannot be trusted with their own bodies. I don't know anything about Rente so I just buy index fonds poo poo. All the Rente offerings I saw amount to like 170€/year Zuschuss if you pay a shitton of money into a zero interest Anlage with Gebühren so its like ... nothing? And due to starting late paying into Betriebliche RV, I'll be getting like 2€/Month when I retire at 98, if the system didn't collapse until then. Should I be doing something else?

I think I would have maybe gotten €100/month if I had kept paying 100€/month for 30 years. So happy I pulled the plug. Although if you're married & with kids & not oliwan, you apparently get a ton more Zulagen or whatever so YMMV. edit: jesus, paying 100€/month sounds so much worse than 1.000€/year

Betriebliche Altersvorsorge lohnt sich für viele Leute auch nicht. Anders als bei der Riester-Rente gibt es bei der betrieblichen Altersvorsorge aber viel mehr Variablen, von denen das abhängt. Der Vorteil von der betrieblichen Altersvorsorge ist, dass die Entgeltumwandlung steuerfrei und SV-frei erfolgen kann. Allerdings sind die Renten dann später steuerpflichtig und SV-pflichtig. D.h. einen Nutzen hast Du nur, wenn Du in eine Gruppe fällst, bei der sich aus der zeitlichen Verlagerung der Besteuerung ein nennenswerter Vorteil ergibt und bei der die SV-Freiheit überhaupt was bringt (wer bereits über der GKV-Beitragsbemessungsgrenze ist spart halt auch keine GKV-Beiträge). Gleichzeitig führt eine SV-Ersparnis bei der Rentenversicherung natürlich dazu, dass man weniger gesetzliche Rente kriegt. Dieses Weniger muss die betriebliche Altersvorsorge also auch erstmal kompensieren. Dann brauchst Du halt noch einen Durchführungsweg und Anbieter, der vernünftige Kosten hat. Das traf als ich das letzte Mal dazu nachgeschlagen habe auf die meisten nicht zu. Dann lohnt sich das Ganze auch erst, wenn der Arbeitgeber was dazugibt (und seien es auch nur die vom Arbeitgeber ersparten SV-Beiträge). Das war früher nicht einmal zwingend, wird es aber bald. Aber IIRC muss der Arbeitgeber immer noch nichtmal alle von ihm eingesparten SV-Beiträge dazugeben. Oh, und die Niedrigzinslage macht natürlich schon seit längeren alle Neuabschlüsse super unattraktiv.

Ich versuche mich gerade in Musiktheorie einzulesen und ich bin mir ziemlich sicher, dass selbst von den Grundlagen nichts Teil des schulischen Lernplans war. Kein Wunder, dass die jungen Leute eine Woche lang gegen den Klimawandel protestieren anstatt zur Schule zu gehen. Verpassen tut man da wohl echt nichts.
