Paula White said just last week that the Whitehouse is holy because she's walked there and she deems herself holy and that's that.

I am a dyed-in-the wool Satanist but I know the Bible speaks clearly on false prophets, yet they don't care and march along anyway.

One guy did a car attack around when the Tokyo Sarin attackers were executed in solidarity with Aum Shinrikyo last year, so there's obviously some appeal. Japan used to have leaders (1920-40s) who believed that since Jews controlled the media, shadowy cabals, and banks that Japan needed to import as many as possible in order to really get their economy jump started.

Tuesday marks the 20th anniversary of having his pilot's license revoked. I assume the whole Q obsession started with someone seeing his name on some list around the turn of the year, I have to hope that the Qult isn't big enough to be influencing network TV decisions.

This refers to the idea that the Trump admin, via Bill Barr, is going to declassify the warrant applications that were used to spy on Trump's aide Carter Page and kicked off the Russia investigation. That's not totally unrealistic - they've been edging toward doing that for a couple years now. The idea is that this "DECLAS" will blow the whole conspiracy wide open because... I'm not sure? Maybe Hillary accidentally attached her Huma Abedin adrenochrome sex tape to the warrant application or something.

While I don't think RWM has really specifically mentioned Q (though I don't listen to it enough to know for sure), either Q uses them for post ideas or they use Q info for sources, because Hannity especially has been going on about the warrant applications for years.

The idea is that the warrant applications used to surveil the Trump campaign were based entirely on the Steele Dossier, that no other sources or information were used to obtain the warrants. Since the Steele Dossier was full of unverifiable information, this means that there was no basis to issue approval of surveilling the Trump campaign, and since the Steele Dossier was the sole justification for the FISA warrants, that means that the surveillance was illegal. Revealing this information will mean that the Democrats got caught using a flimsy excuse to spy on Trump for political purposes. And since the Steele Dossier was paid for by Hillary Clinton, this proves she is behind all of it and thus we need to LOCK HER UP.

Im pretty sure the FISA warrants being 'illegally obtained' with a totally partisan document was an accusation almost as soon as it was known that the dossier was mentioned as evidence. Like, the GOP voted to declassify the closed hearing transcripts revealing that ages ago, even though those transcripts show tons of other evidence (and proof that the judge was aware of where it came from).

And above Goon mentioned Satanic Panic, which is like the 80s version of Qanon, but it was also a mainstream christian belief. It was taken as fact by millions of Americans that there was a massive network of Satanists doing evil everywhere. Police either willingly or were forced into using it as something that guided their investigations. Qanon is online, and weirdos at Trump Rally's, but if say there was a teenager that was found od'd in a empty barn was killed by Qanon regular people would think the police are out to lunch.

Satanic Panic also arguably has a dumber start. A lot of survey stats seem to indicate that the stage was set because of the Exorcist and Rosemary's Baby being big hits and convincing a bunch of young boomers that the devil was real.

Are there 100,000 real followers of Q anon? 1 Million?

Comparing it to Flat Earthers, I'd guess it's around 3,000 to 5,000. So about enough to bother to fill a mediocre to sad conference. It's still hard to judge, but at the real height there seemed to be around a few dozen bothering to come to Trump rallies. There's some number that are "ironic" alt-right followers, so who knows how to factor that in. I remember a few old posts from alt-righters realizing that not everyone thought it was a joke.

The Satanic Panic is also tangentially related to the Trump administration because Amway used to tell all their members to smear Amway competitors as being satanic. Usually with Procter & Gamble it was that the logo was Satanic, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Procter_%26_Gamble#Logo_myth, or that the CEO of P&G went on the Phil Donahue Show and proclaimed their allegiance to Satan. Information for a nonexistent episode was also given and since it was the 80's, you really couldn't verify things like that easily.

Republican and far right weirdos have been using conspiracy theories for personal gain for a while.
