Pex for the incoming water, sure. Pex for a drain?

I had one of those a few months ago! I dunno if I ever posted it. My partner had pulled a light fixture to wire an outlet for under cabinet lighting and had to stop the project to go to work. I came home to this. I regret to inform you that I did not touch the switch.

Words fail me in describing this masterpiece of crappy construction https://www.zillow.com/homedetails/11621-Purse-Dr-Manassas-VA-20112/88020746_zpid/ The whole 104-photo gallery is ridiculous but here are some highlights there are no parallel lines in this house The only justification for the $529,000 price is that someone is going to tear it down and build a $2 million non-deathtrap house in its place, but I'd be worried about upsetting the Lovecraftian entity that probably lives here.

What the gently caress is going on here? Is this a passthrough for a tree trunk? Why is a large chunk of lumber missing on the left side? What is the wall behind it made of?

That house is so stupid it loops back around to awesome. It's like a child's fantasy house where they just built whatever they thought would look cool at the time with whatever they had at hand. What I would give to have seen this place when it was fully furnished. EDIT: I love how you can see parts of the house which were obviously outside which are now very much inside as the rest of the house went all Akira around them. EDIT2: Pics 23 and 24 reveal that the tree trunk room is actually a bathroom. I'm loving this place more and more. It's like some bizarre amalgam house you might wander around in a dream. EDIT 3: What the gently caress even is this room? Why staircase fan? What is up with the wall made from door panels? EDIT4: Wow, sunken hallway of built in glass display cases leads into the third (fourth? I've lost count) set of bathroom/kitchens. The one concession they made to "logic" was putting anything requiring plumbing in adjacent rooms. Megillah Gorilla fucked around with this message at 06:07 on Jul 26, 2019 |

I like how this door opens into free space. I was thinking, why not have it open the other way so it's even with the floor, but thinking about it more I'm sure it's in the middle of the wall on the other side too.
