Say what you will about Arsenal, at least the club is kind enough to sign players so late in the window that we're forced to field an incredibly weak team against Newcastle.

Arsenal folding in the first game of the season because half their team have never met each other is a storied and much loved tradition

I don't really know a lot about Dybala but I thought he was one of those wide forward playmaker fancy dans with great technique, which would make him a lot more suitable to how United look like they're going to play than Lukaku is. I don't think it'll happen though

Swapping Dybala for Lukaku is a definite plus in the system Ole wants to play.

To gently caress Inter over, who definitely need a striker. Seriously. If they sign Lukaku then Inter will likely have to go for Dzeko, which also fucks Roma, and it may be late enough to keep Roma from selling. Not that Dzeko is bad, he’s been pretty good even, but Juve are all about weakening their opposition as much as they are about improving their own squad.

Lukaku agreed to something like £160k/wk which is about what United are also offering Dybala.

Cancelo to Man City rumors are revving up again, with suggestions that Sarri will make Cuadrado his replacement at right back.

This transfer window was pretty cool for a while but now I have no idea wtf Juve are doing.

Don't worry. West Ham luck dictates that you're going to sign Big Andy and he'll score more goals for you this season than he did for his entire time at West Ham.

I highly doubt we are moving our new left back to centre half when one of our major problems is Monreal being a shambling corpse and Kolasinac not knowing how to defend (footballs not carjacking). Also Monreal has been deployed as an ineffective centre half in the past so if we don't sign a new one I imagine that will be the sticking plaster until Holding is fit.

More likely we do a stupid deal for Khedira to swing the Rugani loan.

I think buying a good left back would mean Emery plans on going with a back 4 to accommodate the front three of Lacazette/ Aubameyang and hopefully Pepe as opposed to switching between two and three centre halves like we did last season.
