Brooker’s sister-in-law is the fairly decent (and also my) Labour MP Rupa Huq, so that’s probably why he hasn’t talked publicly about Corbyn and so on. And I only posted that video to encourage people to tier rank UK restaurants (and similar) and am disappointed no one went for the obvious bait. Personally I’d put Patty & Bun in the S tier, though I’m not sure if they’re outside of London. E: The London bus route 38 runs from Clapton Pond and Victoria bus station. Then he goes on about Cheerios but I guess that's just where we are, but we could do with more of this kind of uncompromisingly scathing stuff Comrade Fakename posted:Brookers sister-in-law is the fairly decent (and also my) Labour MP Rupa Huq, so thats probably why he hasnt talked publicly about Corbyn and so on. ohhhh she's related to Konnie? Like I believe that Brooker and Huq are both decently left wing - he's been on the alternative election night broadcast a couple of times and dug into the Tories hard IIRC. Also Connie Huq just owns in general. I love her so much.

Everyone who was of Blue Peter watching age in the mid-late 90s carries a crush on Connie Huq to this day, as well as memories of how seemingly hated she was by a lot of people (can't imagine why).

Thing is though he can be funny if he wants to be... it's just that the American evening viewing audience doesn't want that. Like seriously have you watched any of the "late night" shows? Colbert, Conan, Jimmy Fallon? It's all just the lamest kind of humour. All the 'jokes' are just stating really obvious stuff or saying something and then showing a picture of a photoshop or something for the punchline. "Trump did a thing today, he's an idiot" *HAHAHAHAHAHA*

UK accents form a spectrum, from incomprehensible shouting at cows and horses (white) to incomprehensible shouting at sheep and pigs (dark brown). In the middle region, communication occurs, mostly via posh booing noises. e: Speaking of shouting at livestock, just got an advert for this. Definitely a fun colourful guide and not ominous.
