It could be worse, you could be digging through some thicket and discover that there are in fact trees that are covered in aphids and that your mane of hair is just as adept at catching the biblical plaguelike swarm of them as it is at catching spiders.

Camping in the White Desert (Western Egypt) we had little fennec foxes rooting through our stuff.
We saw so many meteors too - hundreds of miles from anywhere except a couple of small oasis towns.
Even out there though we were able to get a mobile phone signal - not strong, just enough to text people to say we were ok or make short, factual calls.

Yeah for real. The Greens must have driven a hard bargain to keep the Lib Dems from contesting all their many *checks notes* one single seat. Where the LDs didn't stand in the last election anyway and Lucas has a majority of 15,000.

Before chukkatigcukadem came about, there were 3 years of constant articles talking about how very very soon the great centrist fightback would begin and 50 or 60 or 70 mp's had already decided to defect and it was all go go go and soon those drat lefties would see what a bunch of centrists could do

This is the same poo poo, by the same folk- trying to create a political reality by just declaring that an imminent victory is inevitable and hoping enough people hop on board

I've seen that a few times on twitter. In some FBPE circles it seems to be taken for granted that Corbyn is certain to lose his seat to a 'remain' candidate.
