When people talk about 'The UK', they really just mean England. Just like with all of their politics.

And Scotland will be voting, or have voted already for IndyRef2 by then. Hopefully, I'll be among them if I'm still living here then. I can't wait.

Also, huge lol at people thinking Saudi Arabia and the UAE would ever, EVER host games, or even work with Qatar. Do y'all forget that the Saudis literally blockaded Qatar like last year? Add in all the US/Jared Kushner fuckery and it's a wonder shots haven't been fired.

All that was simply because MBS got jelly of Qatar. The whole idea would be to "work together with Qatar" to host "some" of the matches and then just write out Qatar altogether.

Btw, the blockade is still going on.

If, in the highly unlikely scenario that they do move the World Cup, (they won't), what happens to teh half built "air-conditioned" state of the art stadiums the Bangladeshi slaves are building?

Do they get finished? Do they get used to host the public executions of gay people/women?

Che storia figata, ragazzo!

Not sure if it belongs in this thread but CONCACAF now has the stupidest WC qualifying format ever and this would have never happened during Warner's reign because it fucks over T&T.

First 6 nations in the FIFA ranking go straight to the hexagonal, top 3 of the hexagonal go straight to the World Cup. All the other 29 nations play a tournament with group stages, then direct elimination with the champion earning the right to face the 4th place in the hex for the right to go to the playoff against another confederation.

Sucks for 7th placed Panama because it looks tough for them to catch up to 6th place El Salvador. and lmao at Canada's or Guatemala's chances now.

And the Lord said, "Look, they are one people, and they have all one language; and this is only the beginning of what they will do; nothing that they propose to do will now be impossible for them.
Maybe they can get a deal like CONMEBOL has. When they moved to Paraguay they made a deal with the government saying that the police could not enter the headquarters building under any circumstances and local law doesn't apply there.

Isn't the City punishment congruent with Chelsea's punishment for the intial offence? Chelsea had the ban because they continued to offend after the initial punishment did they not?
