There's a Spec V Sentra rolling around here and the owner plasti-dipped his sidewalls bright green. I saw him earlier but I couldn't catch a light to do a u-turn in time to get photos. It's a pretty odd look.

My cobalt has 217000 miles now.. and speaking to the inherent cockroach style 2.2/getrag 5 spd combo’s resiliency it is still going strong with a seemingly compromised head gasket.

It came back from the brink when I poured a can of irontite in it.. although now my cold oil pressure has gone from 70 to 40. And it has a weird burble when I start it that it eventually clears.

Oh, man, tell me about it. Just the way she said, "Daddy, the engine is broken" loving killed me. I hope they clean up the obstacles a bit, get rid of the loving Leveler -- which is a great idea but which skews the times by way too much if they fail it and which eats up way too much running time -- and keep the best parts for another season.

edit: Also, I'm not sure the penalties for missing targets or hitting them with the front of the car aren't a bit much as well. Maybe make the penalties smaller, but have more targets? Dunno. Still, it's a hell of a ride.

I’ve got it running at my place off our server- I have zero idea how it works or how it’s set up because my mate who manages that server did it but it’s really efficient- kills a tonne of ads and also works great on the YouTube ads too- and cos it’s DNS level it means it works on your mobile devices too- I don’t get ads on ether my iPhone or iPad watching the toob.

that sucks. I hope your travel insurance makes things as painless as possible for you.

I'm in a lounge at Dubai drinking Fosters! (which is not available in Australia unless you really look, and then, why would you?). I haven't slept properly in days, I've got a killer throat infection and airline food always messes with my... digestion...

I purchased a Priority Pass membership for this trip and I'm not sure how I feel about it so far. The bathroom is out of order here and they don't have a shower. They do keep bringing me free (crap) beer and there is some decent food that's also included. It's probably worth the $32 USD to not be stuck in a McDonalds foodcourt with the seething mass of humanity I've been trapped on a plane with for 15 hours.

Still, I'll be in Rome in a few hours, so life isn't so bad.

lol no it's not, and that's a straight up delusional statement. Even a lovely AMD Construction core can beat it on single threaded performance. The slowest modernish i3 or Ryzen with the same amount of RAM and an SSD will absolutely level that waste of electricity you have. https://www.anandtech.com/bench/CPU/38

A single threaded CPU benchmark certainly isn't cherry picking. :jerkbag:

A $500 laptop here gets you a ryzen 3 2200u or i3 8130u SOC which average 2716 and 3797 in 3dmark cloudgate to this pig's 4713.

So yeah, it would suck if i used it for single threaded video rendering, but for a media machine or using N64/PS2 emulators it is still more capable

The only thing that i really need on it is hardware HEVC decoding because watching h265 stuff pretty much pegs the cpu.
