Because I still live in the past I use a stand alone rss reader sharpreader. It hasnt been updated in years and can be a pita finding rss feeds of some sites which publish them but dont document what they are easily. Means I kept my rss lists forever when google and browsers ditched inbuilt support.

I swear loving news apps are the worst, and enter a self-propelling cycle of reactionary shite until you're getting daily mobile notifications of "the trans are at it again!" and the comments are a tier below even usual newspaper comments, user4952169643: "they need jusus" MusolinisNutHair: "hiler was right" and it makes me loving pine for the days when my news feed was a bunch of engineering and music stuff and the odd complaining about Gordon Brown, and politics was for coffee shops and chat threads.
