The new Tool album is bad, mostly because Tool is like comic book movies or Star Wars: something you grow past.

I don't think I've ever heard a single Tool song. Don't even know what type of music they make.

Maybe you can find a local credit union that does 2%? IMO supporting an even marginally cooperative organization is more ~good vibes~ than some fuckin for-profit bank with vague exxon-save-the-tigers style promises. Any alleged social benefit a corporation provides is merely marketing and will be the first thing on the chopping block if number turns red iirc Tool are a bunch of libertarians and they've been on a ~15 year hiatus because they got owned in a lawsuit by the guy who did their album cover art Clark Nova fucked around with this message at 23:28 on Sep 1, 2019 |

Even their CD rates are .25% lol. Number is displeased by their lack of number.

Commercial progressive hard rock has always been a sordid affair. A nerd trap which diverts the unwary away from the zen of pure expression and into the cul de sac of technical proficiency. Tool is Rush rebranded for the post-Zen Arcade era. All because of number. Egg Moron fucked around with this message at 10:56 on Sep 2, 2019 |

This looks like some Silicon Valley “fintech” startup that will fold the second the market finally tanks. It looks like it is exploiting “cash management accounts” for the poors, which as far as I can tell is a brokerage account that automatically sweeps uninvested cash/dividends to an FDIC-insured account. I take this to mean there are absolutely ways of using your account that you would consider normal but would leave your money exposed to market fuckups and uninsured. Aside from that, read the fine print at the bottom. Even if your money is safe it is still exploiting loopholes in financial law. The rest is absolutely greenwashing. It’s practically the definition of greenwashing and even if Aspiration controlled ever consumer bank account on earth it wouldn’t “change the world” in the slightest.
