Apparently Eevee doesn’t spawn in the wild anymore now since their costume system doesn’t allow both regular ones and flower ones to be active at the same time.

That's odd considering they can have Kanto form and Alolan forms spawn simultaneously and coexist. I guess forms and costumes are coded differently which is why we have this shenanigan but it's still poor foresight on Niantic's part.

The special research Eevee rewards also manage not to be flower crowns (jump start, celebii) and yet for whatever reason Eevee isn't spawning in the wild and they changed the "evolve a Pokemon" research a couple hours after the changeover to be Cubone/Pidgey after people on Reddit started posting their flower crowns from normal rear end research. I'm sure the game can instance it to just breakthrough rewards, but it sure seems like Niantic has no idea how to do it.

Was happy to hatch this cutie pie today! I got a 2k egg and a 5k egg from spinning stops at lunch today, now I'm afraid to go try for any 10k ones cause I'll probably just get a bunch of poo poo. I do walk several miles at work every day though so I'm not giving up hope for Unown yet
