I think I'd take my chances as a casino slave rather than getting rescued by a resistance that amounts to at most 100 people on a death march through space with no real plan of escape. The good guys ruled the galaxy up to a year or so before this and they still couldn't stop the slavery and fascism, and now they've been cut down to a skeleton crew I'm meant to put my hope for a better life in their hands?

I mean they actively endorsed the slavery prior to it. Darth Vader and his mom were slaves and the Jedi were only there because there was some kind of union dispute or whatever the gently caress and were openly totally fine with planet wide enslavement of living humans but they had too many droids or wtf ever

Not sure what this guy's problem is with dunking on star war in the star war mock thread though. I don't even hate them. Really TLJ is the only one that is straight trash. TFA is not good, but not terrible, it's boring. Solo is good but not great, worth a watch. Rogue One is really good and I enjoyed it thoroughly. I feel I've been pretty consistent on these opinions. Must be Chomp Derangement Syndrome!
