Peter Parker: Smart enough to handle complicated lab equipment and realize the need for lead shielding, not smart enough to realize radiation contaminates things.

Edit: Actually wait its even better, the moment the spider bites him he gets instant brain damage.

Say Watt?

I'm actually really surprised the origin isn't the same as the one from the comics, like adding in the part about him trying to sell photos before he's Spider-Man and being personally involved in the experiement that ends up irradiating the spider

Like some sort of stupidity zombie.

Any time MJ starts acting like she's doing on today's strips, it's probably because Peter gave her a hickey.

Didn't they just loving introduce black widow as her stunt double. This is exactly the kind of poo poo a stunt double does. You don't have the star of your movie jump off a building.

I like the emphasis there in "Got you!" like the lowlife had just said "Got you!" and MJ flipped it and reversed it on him.

I think they said stunt double but meant understudy. Black Widow will fill the role if/when MJ gets hurt or killed.

That's actually fairly sensible, she just does the take where the falling starts and the stunt double does the action take. Also I did not edit those creepy arms in.

I hope the creepy arms are not the only thing holding that cage + mattress thing in position...

Also very convenient that the building had a giant opening for that thing instead of a regular window.

They've only got one copy of that prop so she gave it to BW for the stunt scene?

I know, but I was under the impression the movie plotline was those reruns, and they were still being published in papers/the publisher's website daily, up until the replacement strip launches. Or is everyone just posting from the archives now?

Oh, ok yeah, this movie stuff is reruns in newspaper until the replacement is made. Nothing yet on when that replacement will happen.
