Other models from this brand have Bluetooth and more onboard storage, and one even runs off an AA battery. But basic will do for my son till he needs/gets a phone (probably next year). I didn't check Ali since he needed this fairly quickly (school trip), but who knows?

https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32846736301.html Picked up a few flexible nib fountain pens because jesus look they're so cheap the prices are what you usually pay for nibs here. The flow rate is a little low, might take a look at that, see if I can modify anything but otherwise seems decent.

The H fit my ears better and I get a louder, more enclosed sound from them. I bought the newer H pods with the bigger illuminated charging case (so I have three sets of buds now) and I’m happy with my purchases. Ordered 9/24, received 10/3 to east coast US. drat these are really nice. I do hate the touch feature, but whatever you only really need it to turn them on, I'm not pairing often or switching to mono mode. I got the Pro because I commute 3.5 hours a day and will need to frequently charge. They showed up charged, it said to charge them but the 4 indicators were full and it turned off very quickly when plugged in, seems to be working great. You're right about the fit - holy crap, they're way better than anything else I've tried for my loud commute, and there's basically 0 chance of them falling out. They can't be seen from the front at all, so you look like a loving weirdo on the train nodding along to nothing, which I appreciate. Hopefully they can deal with getting slightly sweaty at the gym, I've had regular headphones start to slide out. Once watched a woman lean over to check if a train was coming and her AirPod fell out of her ear onto the tracks, so apparently it's a thing that happens. She looked very defeated and all of the employees were like "yeah.... we're not getting that right now" Another review for this thing, the smell proof bag I bought: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/33006168273.html Weed is legal in my state, and neither of us minds the smell if you're smoking it, but this pretty much works as it says as a stash bag. If you're a bit lazy about lining up the dual velcro and it sits for a while the bag will very mildly smell if you like... hold it up directly to your nostril. But it works great for just stopping the "there's weed in this small space" smell. Anne Whateley posted:What is this guy a character from? Did you take the tiny stickers off the contact points on the back of the buds like I didn't? You will get a loss of sound-seal when you work up some gym ear sweat, I usually pop out the bud and give it a quick wipe on my shirt hem and you're good for another half-hour. Not ideal, but I can live with it after my over-ear big headphones broke.

There was a cute little drawing that said "STICKER" so I found them first. Good first commute in them, pretty happy with these for like $22, under $20 I think if you don't need the pro version. In no way does this feel like a lovely AliExpress product.

I think the vibration from my fan was enough to think I was moving? Swinging my arms fools it too. I reset it to factory default and that got rid of the false steps. Since its all done through bluetooth, I have no idea if I could install anything custom on it. The default app is pretty basic, and looking at the comments it seems they've removed the ability to load custom watchfaces on it which is a little strange. Meh, it checks my heartrate fine and gives me alerts.

i finally got my first "product ruined due to careless shipping" order, what's the right way to handle this so i get a reship or refund and dont fall into "it got QCed, shipping aint our responsibility, appeal to one of the like 4 involved postal services" hell? already accepted it at the post office b/c the packaging is fine, it just clearly got badly overheated at some point in transit. Worth like $35, so enough to not let go but also not enough to get in an involved fuckin rigamarole over

Message them and send photos, wait a few days then raise a dispute for the full amount if they don't reship (they will if you want ) Just beware that they always counter a dispute with $0 and say "sorry friend please cancel the dispute and we will reship" If you hit ok on zero dollars then AliExpress will close out the item and you will have nothing.

I got my Xiaomi AirDots in the mail and I figured that since they look 100% like they Haylou ones I can write an opinion. They sound surprisingly good! I'm surprised, considering my usual high standards regardin audio and the fact that they're 20 dollars for wireless earbuds, but I guess Xiaomi did make Piston 2s all the years ago, which were the top of the line under 20$. Very V-shaped sound but I guess that's the standard of Chi-Fi by now. The noise cancelling works well enough to make me not hear my pet rabbit jump on the couch behind me. Good purchase.

Basically it means the bass and treble get accentuated more than the mids (which are usually vocals)! Whether it's good or bad is really a matter of preference and what music you're most likely to listen to. I kinda included a dig at the rest of chinese audio like KZ because a lot of the headphones people praise have, for me, really shrill trebles. I'm very sensitive to certain sounds though so ymmv.

I don't think you'll get anywhere until it's been like this for 60 or whatever days, then you can open a dispute.

It's probably on a ship, I normally give them a few chances to extend the dispute time before I ask for my money back. I've never not had a dispute settle in my favor and only one of about a dozen actually arrived some time later. I've had quite a few packages arrived 4-6 weeks after the normal dispute window. That's why I give them a good chance to extend it

Also yanwen and one of the other poo poo ones have been playing bulk reshipping games with packages this year, Ive gotten packages with 3 layers of shipping notes for different Asian countries layered on top of the original one with the supplied tracking number. It took quite some patience to peel those stickers....

I'm pretty sure that when it says "Departed by airline" from China, it actually means "Was put in the nearest container heading that way and won't leave until the container is full."

Got the Haylou earbuds with charging case. They're very sleek for the price! Not blown away by the sound, but the fit is very good and they do get pretty loud without any hissing or popping. Biggest gripe is with the touch controls, which I'm still getting used to. Hard to take them out without accidentally activating a skip or something.
