A kind little mouse!

quote:

Am I a weakling for crying after being spanked playfully too hard?

My boyfriend and I usually play around with friendly to fairly hard taps. We’re very comfortable with each other and have been together for a while. Today was no different, and right when I was least expecting it he slapped - pretty hard.

I don’t understand why I reacted the way I did. I tears started to spill, and I immediately walked away. It was an instant reaction. I knew logically there was nothing wrong, and I could figure out why i was crying; I figured maybe it was a fear reaction. When i get scared or frustrated, i cry easily, and I told him that.

Now he feels awful because he thinks that I’m scared of him. I feel awful because we have a very close relationship and he doesn’t believe me when I tell him I’m not scared of him. Am I just a weakling who can’t process what’s going on properly? Is this reaction normal?

Edit: Thank you guys for all of the positive responses! When I made this I had felt like I’d done something wrong, now I’m excited to try again! Thanks for taking the time to help

My penis points sky high during erection and I can't bend it down completely. Do I need to worry?

quote:

From what I've seen, all the guys in porn seem to have very "loose" dicks that just hang down their leg, and bend around quite a bit. Mine on the other hand is very "stiff" and usually rock solid, and I can't bend it downwards very much. The lowest it gets is to a perpendicular angle (90 degrees) to my body.

Is this problematic for sex?

I think it's safe to say there's a lot more going on in the background of this relationship than that event. at the very least it's obvious their communication is terrible.

going by his account alone, I'd be inclined to point the finger at her, since apparently she was asked several times how she is doing and never outright said she was having a bad time. the fact that he was asking implies that at least he was trying. maybe the guy could have taken a hint when she said she was whatsapping friends (why even be at the party if you're gonna do that), but it seems dumb to passive aggressively insinuate you're not having a good time when you are talking to someone you know to be too dense to pick that up. which if she is married, I would hope she would know that about her husband. especially if the guy's had a few in him.

eta: Definitely agree with everything going on in your post, particularly the part about him checking in: he said he checked in on her every 30 minutes or so. Which is already very generous assuming she's a grown woman, not a child. But yeah above all their communication sucks rear end, big surprise for a married couple amirite /slide whistle

AITA for drinking straight out of my milk bottle that I keep in the work fridge?

quote:

I keep a gallon bottle of milk in the work fridge (in the coffee room) because I like to have a morning glass of milk rather than coffee. Yeah it's a little weird but it's what I like.

I put my initials on the side with sharpie to mark it as my own.

Sometimes I'll just be in the break room microwaving something or cleaning dishes and I'll take a drink of my milk from the bottle. Never thought twice about it since it's my own.

Then one day I was in the break room with a couple of my coworkers and I did this, and they all were like "eww wtf, did you seriously just drink straight from the milk" and I went "sure I did, what's the big deal" and it came out that everyone was treating that as communal milk for coffee.

Apparently because my initials could also initial the company (Something along the lines of how M.S. could mean Megan Smith or Microsoft) and how nobody figured someone would need a whole gallon of milk at work people figured it was shared.

I was like "Whoops, I'll label my bottles better" and felt kind of embarrassed about it all.

Over the next couple days, one of my coworkers apologised to me for having used my milk but three were grossed out that I didn't make it clearer it was my own, and then drank right from the bottle everyone was using for coffee.

AITA for this?

I just grew up drinking milk, like my dad was raised by Iowans so they had a glass of milk every night with dinner, and as a kid that's what I got used to. of course as an adult I don't have it nearly as much but as a teenager I could probably crush a gallon a week by myself, easily. Now it's just occasionally like with breakfast or if I'm having a really savory meal or something like that. oh! and chocolate cake mmmm

I was assuming it was because OP didn't feel like washing a cup, lol

here's a story that is not about milk:

AITA for a joke I made about how weirdly close my colleague seemed with his adult daughter?

quote:

I work in a rather nice office, so some of the higher ups make very good money. This colleague does not work in my department, so he is not my boss, but he is definitely much higher up than I am.

We were recently seated at the same table for a work related dinner event in which families were invited. He brought his wife and his adult daughter and son, and I brought my husband. I have occasionally met his daughter a few times when she was a teenager, and she always struck me as a big daddy's girl. Now she is 21, and since she was seated next to her father all night, I got a glimpse at how weirdly affectionate they are together.

They would giggle and take goofy selfies, she would give him repeated kisses on the cheek and would tease him about it leaving a lipstick mark, she would link arms with him and snuggle into his neck, they held hands, and they shared a single dessert and ate off each other's plates. And she had no issues with finishing multiple glasses of wine in front of him. It was so weird, the whole night. The whole family was there but it was like the two of them were sharing every inside joke, just them. I could understand if she was a little kid, but she's an actual adult.

As we were leaving a couple of us from our table were having a smoke and I joked "Do you think [colleague] is going to bed with his daughter or his wife tonight?" When they gave me a weird look like they didn't get it, I said that there was clearly something weird there but they told me to drop it.

Back in the office a couple people have chastised me for starting "malicious rumours", but it really was just a joke. I am now worried this gossip will reach him, and since he is well-respected and well-liked, people will side with him. I know my joke may have been a bit off colour, but was it really that bad?

AITA?
